About the King Ladder Company
All King Ladder products are manufactured and tested to Australian & New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 1892 and AS/NZS 1576.
We are the only ladder company to have the largest ladder in each range independently tested by SGS to confirm the meet the AS/NZ1892.2018 standards.
At King Ladder Company we are dedicated to ‘Safety at Heights’ and our ladders are both lightweight and strong to ensure any job around the home or workplace can be done with stability and ease.
King Ladder Co boasts a wide range of ladders designed and engineered for the industrial/commercial user in mind. Our products are sold through a wide range of resellers that care about their customers safety.
The range includes work platforms, double-sided, dual purpose, platform stepladders, extension and multipurpose. Fibreglass ladders are also available for those in the electrical industry.
Falls from heights are the leading cause of accidents on New Zealand work sites. Worksafe laws have changed to make height access safer and we have seen a shift in workplace culture; workplace accidents are not acceptable.

Design & Innovation
King ladder Company spent over 4 years designing an engineering their range of industrial ladders. Hundreds of extrusions and tooling were created to make sure we ended up with the lightest and strongest ladders possible
Compliance & Certification
To confirm our ladders meet the AS/NZ1892.2018 standards, we had SGS laboratories independently test the largest ladder in each range. We then reverse engineered each ladder below to be stronger than the previous.
Environmental Pledge
All King Ladders come packaged in as little plastic as possible, and have prioritised the use of packaging from sustainable sources to minimise the effect on the environment.
Honest & Ethical
All of our overseas manufacturers have pledged that they will not, and do not use slave labour. They also pay their employees minimum wages based on their country’s employment laws.
